Yesterday was Memorial Day and I was crazy busy playing soccer, eating hot dogs and s'mores, and playing card games...however, I was going to post a poem saying thank you to all those who gave their lives for the freedom of this country! Thank you, and though it is a day late the following poem is dedicated to those who have died in the military serving our country. -Green Girl
Thank You Freedom Fighters!

Freedom to be who I want to be
Because people payed the price.
In order for us to be free
They withstood the battles of fire and ice.
Thanks to those who fought,
We are who we are, and we do what we do;
And because of what they sought
We get to live in the red, white, and blue.
The greatest country of them all
Is no doubt the US of A,
And we get to enjoy it
Thanks to those who fought and paid!
